Our Bamboo Shades are not weather proof or water resistant.  Moisture can accumulate on the natural materials, so if the shade gets wet you will want to wipe/dry it thoroughly to avoid mold. We do not recommend you put them outdoors, or if you do, the materials, cords and mechanisms may cease to work properly. Note that placing installing your shades outdoors or in a place where they are exposed to exterior elements voids any and all warranties.
