Sometimes the tension on your cordless zebra shade may need to be adjusted for your zebra shade to work properly. In the image below, you can find the screw that will need to be adjusted to increase or lower the tension in your shade.

The way you will turn the screw is dependent on the issue you are having with your shade.

1. Increasing the tension - CLOCKWISE - You may want to increase the tension if you are having trouble raising your shade. For instance, it is at the bottom and you really have to push the bottom rail a lot in order for it to move up. Or it may not raise at all.

2. Decreasing the tension - COUNTER-CLOCKWISE - Your shade has trouble staying in one place. When you lower it, it may raise on its own slightly, or quickly. To fix this, reduce the tension to a level that keeps the bottom rail in place.
